Seefeld

Seefeld is the largest village in the Olympia region of Seefeld and is situated at an elevation of 1200 metres. This area is known for its pleasant atmosphere and beautiful cross-country and walking routes. Seefeld is famous for its healthy mountain air and is also called an "air health resort". Walk in nature, or visit one of the cosy mountain huts. In the authentic centre you can shop to your heart’s content.

We should specifically like to recommend: Seefeld Casino, the Tyrolean Schmuck Kastl, the Seefelder Schuhladen, the Swarovski shop 'Seefeld Present' and clothing shop Sport Sailer. You can also indulge yourself in culinary delights, or enjoy Tyrolean specialities in one of the many restaurants.  We will be happy to make a reservation for you.

At walking distance from Hotel Princess Residenz Bergfrieden you will find the restaurant of hotel Klosterbräu, the Ritter Oswald Stube. Klosterbräu represents enjoyment and being pampered, and is known for its tasteful cuisine, which has been awarded with one ‘tocque’ from the Gault Millault guide, the Austrian equivalent of the Michelin star. Klosterbräu also has a unique beauty salon with gentle stimulating baths, spacious sauna, fitness facilities and a wide range of other baths.

At the centrally located station, you can take a train trip along the mountains and enjoy breathtaking views and rugged mountain ridges. You will ultimately wind up in the centre of Innsbruck for a walk through the historic heart of this university city.

And for the children, Seefeld offers many things for them to discover. Visit the spectacular Play Castle just outside the village, or the Spielpark in Leutasch, with one of the longest toboggan runs in the area. In Seefeld itself lots of festivals and events are organised, summer and winter.
